Dr. Anna Levy-Warren is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with parents, couples, and families. Her focus lies in high-conflict couples and family systems struggling with dysregulation, diagnosed learning disabilities, and ADHD. In 2001 she began her work in the field of psychology at McLean Hospital and Children's Hospital Boston. In 2003 she began a doctoral program in Clinical Psychology at City University of New York. Dr. Levy-Warren’s clinical and neuropsychology training with children and adolescents led her to form a company to support people with executive functioning challenges and other complex learning profiles.
Dr. Levy-Warren is trained in and draws from the following therapeutic techniques: Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational interviewing, Prevention and Relationship Education Program (PREP®) communication skills, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
In addition to her client work, Dr. Levy-Warren serves as a panelist and speaker for functions in the field and consultant to learning teams and administrators at schools. She is a member of the American Psychological Association. Dr. Levy-Warren has contributed to academic and clinical research featured in the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Journal of Infant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, the Archives of Sexual Behavior, and most recently, Psychoanalytic Psychology (2023, Vol. 40, No. 3, 214–220).
Dr. Levy-Warren is licensed to practice psychology in the State of New York and has been supporting clients through her private practice since 2018. She also co-founded a group clinical practice, Dwellness In-Home Psychological Services, where she oversees a growing team of clinicians from a variety of mental health related fields. Through Dwellness’ home-based and innovative in-person support offerings, as well as low-fee options for those with financial need, Dr. Levy-Warren strives to make mental health services more accessible to the NYC community and beyond.
Dr. Levy-Warren’s practice has two office locations on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and in South Slope, Brooklyn.
